I’m Ellen, a Mama and Nelson based wedding florist
I’ve always loved nature — being outdoors and soaking in the beauty that surrounds us. There’s something magical about the endless colours, textures, and forms in the natural world; it’s an endless source of inspiration for creating.
I began my journey into floristry in Christchurch back in 2018. What started with a few weddings for friends quickly blossomed into something more, as word spread and I found myself creating florals for friends of friends… and then their friends too!
I try to work closely with local growers to find flowers with real personality — the ones with a little bend, a little twist, and the perfect shades for your story.
Now, two beautiful kids and countless weddings later, I’m still here — still creating, still learning, and still completely in love with what I do. Every bouquet, every arrangement, is a piece of my heart and a reflection of the beauty that surrounds us.
I get to create using the Creators creations and that in itself is amazing

She was so onto it, and we discussed colours and ideas over the phone, and then she had free reign to create something for me and I picked to have dried wedding florals.
And lets just say, I cried with joy when I saw them.
They were more than I could have ever dreamed of, absolutely stunning.
She put so much thought into every flower she chose and I had so many comments on the day about how beautiful they were. The bouquets and buttonholes were all the perfect size, perfect colours, and all arranged so beautifully.
She is very talented and I would 10000% recommend her to do the florals for anyone's wedding - fresh or dried - she is amazing!
